Good Morning, and welcome to our home. All right, so today’s life lesson is to realize how deeply we are loved. I like to feel that God loves me.

That’s just my orientation for others of you. It might be the angels. The higher power you put in what you can relate to, but for me, this all presents a loving God. So a lot of people feel that they have to behave. They have to do good things to be loved. They have to earn the love of God, so they’ll volunteer. They’ll work in the animal shelter, they’ll, you know, all that, they’ll help the elderly and then at the end of the day they’ll go, well I’ve been good now.

I can be loved. All those things are good, you know. The volunteering, the helping, that’s all good. But you don’t need to do that to be loved. We are already deeply loved. I love to tell this story.

It’s perhaps one of my favorite stories, which I might have already told in this video. But it’s a good reminder that when I got my nursing license, I went to Columbia University in New York City, and the medical center there was huge. It took up city blocks, and it would go up, I don’t know, 20 floors. It was like a city. You see, I did different rotations throughout, learning different things, and when it was time for the OB… You can listen to the rest in the video message above.
