A Salute to Veterans-Dr. Willie Jolley
Almost everyone I know has a reason to give a salute to veterans. It could be a friend, a relative, or a friend of a friend.
What some people do not realize is even when a person enlists in the military they may never see war. Yet what they do is sacrifice what we all enjoy as a ‘normal’ life. Don’t get me wrong they are allowed to have “fun”. But sometimes they are stationed far away from family, they miss holidays, family get-togethers, or the birth of their first child. I know some say they choose that, but it does come with a price. So it is always important to me to make sure you give Thanks to those that served.
Today, let’s celebrate veterans the right way!
