The Beautiful Capital City of British Columbia Victoria

It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos once again in the beautiful capital city of British Columbia Victoria named after Queen Victoria whose statue Graces the grounds in front of the Parliament building just across the street for where I’m currently standing. I’m here at the fountain and a beautiful Crest celebrating Canada and the provinces of which British Columbia is one of the most spectacular. Today I want to talk about crests, family crests.

It be it a Union Jack or something else that defines the various provinces here as you can see on the wall Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newland and the Northwest Territory lies. Then if you come with me over on this side we see Ontario, Manitoba.

I did my fifth grade term paper on Manitoba. I remember writing the way to get information on this province and the Buffalo being the states or the provincial image Saskatchewan and Alberta British Columbia and of course the Yukon Territory. Beautiful as I see these crests I’m reminded of college days when I was part of a men’s service organization at Seattle Pacific University called centurions the founder of centurions was Dr. Roy Swanstrom a beloved history professor at Seattle Pacific a member of intervene Covenant Church where I would following graduation from college and after Seminary. If you want to hear more, listen to the video above.
