Coming to You From T-Mobile Park – Greg Asimakoupoulos 9.26
Coming to You From T-Mobile Park it’s Greg Asimakoupoulos
Hey, it’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons from T-Mobile Park. It’s an exciting time to be a Mariner fan. We’re here a little bit before game time to experience some of the pregame activity. I just took a picture of Cal Raleigh, our our catcher, who has broken Mickey Mantel and Junior Griffy’s home run record for switch hitter and for a Seattle Mariner single season record.
Exciting. But as I see the the grandstands filled with fans, as I hear the commotion, the excitement, I’m reminded of one of my favorite passages in the New Testament, and that being Hebrews 12, verse 1.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us run with perseverance the race that is marked before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.-New Testament, and that being Hebrews 12, verse 1.
You know, as Hebrews chapter 12 begins, it really is a continuation of Hebrews chap 11 where we are given a listing of the heroes of the faith. Starts back in the Old Testament and just continues to enumerate those who walked with God, those who modeled trusting God.
