Cousins from Norway were visiting America on Today’s My Rhymes and Reasons
It’s a Wednesday, and it’s Greg with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons. Cousins from Norway were visiting America. We took them to see Little Norway in PSBO and on the ferry. This view was just too much not to capture in today’s video because it calls to mind I love the skyline of Seattle. It calls to mind what Jesus said when He said a city set on a hill cannot be hit. The last time I shared that verse with you was today, a few months ago, at Lake KO in Italy.
I want to talk about the fact I wish that we, as the family of God, the church, the bride of Christ, or whatever you want to use as a metaphor to refer to those who
follow Jesus in the community. What results is like this: a Skyline stands out as something that cannot be ignored. You know, to look at this beautiful scene in the background, you have to stop and take notice or stop and take a picture of a city set on a hill that cannot be hit now. How does that come about? What causes the family of God, the bride of Christ, and the church to be set apart? So that there’s no getting around that people have to take notice when you stop and think about it? It’s not that difficult to figure out. It’s the loving acts of kindness.
