And it’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons.

Yesterday we talked about it being Canadian Thanksgiving and we concluded our broadcast by indicating that every day is Thanksgiving. Be it the second Monday in October for our neighbors to the north or the fourth Thursday in November for those of us who live in the US of A. But every day is a day to give thanks, acknowledging the giver of all good gifts.

And the one who is responsible for this Dalia farm, one of my favorite parts of the Snoqualmie Valley near North Bend, Mount Sai, just east of Seattle about 35 miles is the Snoqualmie Valley Dalia farms. They are absolutely beautiful.

You know, people come from all over America to visit the  Skagit Valley, which is about 90 minutes north of Seattle up near Mount Vernon, where we have tulip time every spring. Well, this time of the year, we have Dalia time here in the Snoqualmie Valley. And it is really remarkable the colors, the textures, the beauty of what grows here.

If you missed our last My Rhymes and Reasons post, it is here.
