How to Survive Winter: My Rhymes and Reasons

How to Survive winter with Greg is today’s topic.

It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons on this rather cloudy gray sort of day. Well, it is winter after all, but sometimes we need help in coping with the darkness of these dark days.

This is a question here in the hospital corridor that invites kids of all ages to answer this question.

What helps you through the dark season?

Good question. And on this day, I’d like to pose that question to you. What helps you through the dark season of life when hope is a rarity and you find yourself grasping for straws, wanting to hide, feeling far from God perhaps. Well, here are some suggestions.

Celebrating holidays, sunny vacation, pets, cozying up with blankets and warm cups of hot chocolate, tea, breaks during the sunlight hours, winter activities, playing games indoors, hugs, playing with friends.

If you missed our last My Rhymes and Reasons post, it is here.
