Jesus’s Conversation with a Woman at the Well 2.19.25

It’s a Wednesday; it’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition about Jesus’s conversation with a woman at the well on My Rhymes and Reasons greeting you from Snoqualmie Falls just east of Seattle, about 30 miles. As you know, those of you who regularly watch, one of my favorite locations for recording these morning devotionals. I invite you to look up that you might look forward at what the day would bring this time of the year here in the middle of February.

There is not nearly the flow of water that will be taking place within another couple of months as the snow melting from Snoqualmie Falls. The general Cascade Foothills slope that comes down from the mountains. Cascade Mountains melting snow, the flooded rivers will fill this canyon with rock with water. Right now, it’s kind of slim pickings but even at that, I’d have you note that there is no water shortage.

I’m reminded of Jesus’s conversation with a woman at the well. Six years ago, right about now, my wife and I were in Israel. We were there at Nablus, Shechem, the ancient site of Jacob’s well, where you can still visit and there is about 120 feet deep well.
