John Isaacson was a Seattle Industrialist with Greg 11.05

John Isaacson who was a Seattle industrialist was a Seattle pioneer.

It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos still at North Park Theological Seminary and I discovered something today while walking through the campus buildings that I had never seen before. That is that Isaacson chapel which is part of the seminary where students gather for chapel services where those in homolytic class have an opportunity to preach before their peers and before their professor like I did 40 years ago when I was back here at North Park. This chapel was dedicated to John Isaacson in May of 1983.

That’s when I graduated.

I had no idea that it had not yet formally been dedicated to John Isaacson was a Seattle industrialist, a Seattle pioneer if you will. In 1907 he turned a blacksmithing shop into Isaacson iron works. And from Isaacson Iron Works,

Wow.

It would take a long time to describe all that has been created and fashioned through that amazing company.
