Keeping Love Alive My Rhymes and Reasons for 2.13.26
Keeping Love Alive
Today Greg talks about Keeping Love Alive in a relationship.
Hey, it’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with Keith Faren once again with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons. We began the week talking about 13 not being an unlucky number, but if you happen to stop at the local Einstein Bakery and get a baker’s dozen, you get a 13th without having to pay for it. So, I’m hungry.
I’d say that’s kind of lucky. However, since today is February 13th, if you haven’t anticipated the fact that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, today could very well be unlucky.
When’s the last hotel you’ve been in that’s had a 13th floor?
Have you made note of that fact?
I don’t even really pay attention.
I don’t think many I know. It’s crazy.
Well, we’re not here to talk about 13 being lucky or unlucky. We’re here to talk about Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
What it takes to keep a marriage relationship fresh and alive.
Valentine’s Days are nice kind of built-in reminders that it’s good to think of that special person in your life and maybe do something out of the ordinary. But you and Carrie have been married coming up on 30 years and that’s Monday.
Wow. For Wendy and me, it’ll be 44.
Nice.
But you can’t just assume that you will keep that vitality there.
What do you guys do to kind of make sure that Valentine’s is part of every day of your married life?
