My Rhymes and Reasons from the Inner Bay Railyards 10.2

Greg here from the Inner Bay Railyards

Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons from the Inner Bay Railyards. This is a place where you see a lot of graffiti on a lot of box cars. I have to confess much of what I see sprayed on box cars I can’t make sense of. I need an interpreter.

I have a son-in-law who grew up in inner city Chicago and Tim is an expert in deciphering what you see graffiti-wise in inappropriate places and also in spaces where municipalities have made space available for gifted artists to be able to paint to their heart’s content without fear of retribution or arrest.

Best because they are gifted in a can of spray paint and my son-in-law also having not only studied the art form, he’s become quite skilled in it himself.

In fact, when some of my family members are doing crossword puzzles or Wordle or other sorts of ways to creatively pass the time, Tim has a sketchbook and is sketching with graffiti letters because he’s good at it. I need him today to help me.

If you missed our last My Rhymes and Reasons post, it is here.
