Today’s Lesson on Listening and the Gift it Gives Others 9.15.24
Enjoy today’s lesson on listening and the gift it gives others. Welcome to our home on this beautiful Sunday morning. Rather than showing you flowers, I decided to wear flowers, and these do not flow. Well, no, they are. That’s a poppy. That’s a yeah, okay, they’re both wearing the flowers, all right. So, today’s lesson concerns listening and the gift it gives others. We’ve discussed this before, but it’s essential, and I might not have shared this story.
So it takes takes place a while ago. We were 27; we went through medical school and residency. Then he decided that rather than continue and keep going like most doctors do, he would stop, and we would go on a long trip. We planned a year and a half for maybe two years at that time. We had a VW van, and we traveled. Then, we would also go to Europe and spend the summer with the Sufis. We decided to stop at each of our parents’ homes for a full week and get a chance to see our relatives again, so the first stop was Buffalo, New York. I have a lot of relatives, or I
did, which was lovely. My relatives are primarily Swedish…you can hear the rest on the video above.
