Personal Aspects of Our Lives for Decades Seem to Be Disappearing.
It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons talking about how personal aspects of our lives for decades seem to be changing.
Isn’t it amazing the technological world in which we live? Who’s looking at you? As I was coming home from my walk this morning, I heard a buzzing sound and there above my neighbor’s house was this drone.
I don’t know what he’s taking pictures of, but obviously I’m included in his purview. It got me to thinking as we live our lives day in and day out, we live our lives fairly predictably, don’t we? Knowing what we are planning to do, what the agenda for the day calls for, who’s watching us, who has their eye on us out there.
He went behind the tree and all I’m left with is the birds that are flying overhead. Maybe you saw them from where I was positioned. I will continue this devotional without the benefit of the drone. But here’s our neighborhood, our post office boxes, mailboxes where we receive mostly third class mail. Then there is first class bills, very little original handwritten notes.
Mail has changed, hasn’t it? Through the years, even as we give way to technological advances, those personal aspects of life which have punctuated our lives for decades seem to be disappearing. Continue listening at about 1:32 in the video.
