Welcome to our home on this, the last Sunday in August. Here are some beautiful roses from the garden. There, it’s still just as beautiful as ever. Joyce was a little concerned that these were so fully open they were falling they’re dropping, and I said it could be a Beauty in the Beast moment. Okay, all right, today’s little lesson is about being open to miracles in your life.
Sometimes, they don’t happen right away, and we could even get discouraged, but the important thing is to hold that possibility of a miracle happening. So, from the time I was a young girl, I think from the time I was a girl, I had this dream of finding a dog, a stray dog, and rescuing the dog. Then, we brought the dog home, gave the dog all this love, and contacted the shelter. Eventually, the owner would be found quickly, and it would be such a happy story.
So, where we live in Santa Cruz, there are a few stray dogs that are wandering around. Most dogs are kept on leashes. The owners are very protective of them. So I hadn’t seen a stray dog, but we were finishing up a beach walk…{you can hear the rest on the video above}
