The Rest of the Story My Rhymes and Reasons for 02.10.26
The Rest of the Story
Today’s edition is about The Rest of the Story.
It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos once again from Q13 in Seattle, local cable station and the billboard here at channel 13 invites us to have a good day, watch live news every morning on channel 13.
Well, as I see this billboard, I can’t help but think of someone that helped revolutionize broadcasting here in the United States, and that being the legendary radio broadcaster Paul Harvey. He would conclude his daily broadcasts, and some of you old enough to remember will know how he ended it. It became his signature sign off.
Good day.
Now, as I see the billboard here at Q13, I think of Paul Harvey. Not only would he give us the headlines of the day,
You may even recall that it was called Paul Harvey News and Comment. Mr. Harvey would also have a program called The Rest of the Story. And that’s what I’d like to talk to you about today, The Rest of the Story. We too often are prone to draw conclusions from first impressions.
And whereas that sometimes is totally accurate. What we see is what we get.
Often times, however, first impressions do not prove to be the bottom line.
There often times is the rest of the story.
