It’s a Thursday, Greg Asimakoupoulos, with you from Fall City, Washington, here in this beautiful Dalia Farm. I’m recording today’s My Rhymes and Reasons. You know, yesterday we talked about beauty being the answer that fall receives when fall calls beauty responds, and here we have an example of that.
If I turn around, I think you can see that beauty is the answer even on the other side. I love this time of the year; it’s a season for Harvest. I’m drawn to Ecclesiastes Chapter 3. And you know that the Birds sang about that back in the ’60s. When they sang right out of scripture for every season, for every time there is a season and a purpose under Heaven, There is a purpose for every season under Heaven, and those of us who find ourselves in the season of life. Well, for me, it’s the Autumn season of life.
I’m not sure what season it is for those of you who are watching. Every season provides a different chapter and verse for our lives. If we read Solomon’s poetry, we know there’s a time to be born, a time to die, a time to mourn, a time to dance, a time to plant, and a time to reap.
