Oh Welcome to our home. Though this isn’t Fourth of July right now. This is Fourth of July week. At least around here, fireworks start going off days earlier. Then they go for another 5 days or something after.

I have a really nice Fourth of July story it’s one of my favorite stories so you might have heard before. It has a really great lesson to it.
Barry and I for 30 years, we bred Golden Retrievers maybe once a year we’d have a litter of puppies. Which you know I would have gone on forever, but we’ve had to retire. We have had these wonderful 30 years. Just love Golden Retrievers and love raising these high quality puppies and having them go to amazing homes.
So as part of our breeding process and as part of being the Golden Light Kennel, we would participate in the Aptas Fourth of July Parade every year. We would invite people to come with the puppies that they that got from us and usually we’d have maybe 10 or 12 which is nice. But this one year we had 26. We had our two dogs, and then 24 other puppies that all had come from our litters. It was so special, just to see these dogs again.
The dogs were really happy so as part of the parade, the dog groups had to meet in the parking lot of this veterinarian that was close to the start of the parade and that veterinarian had out water and stuff… You can hear the rest of the story on the video above.
