This Shall Be a Sign Unto You|My Rhymes and Reasons with Greg Asimakoupoulos

Today’s message is This Shall Be a Sign Unto You with Greg.

It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with Thursday’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons. Once again, from Lake Union, the lake that unites Lake Washington, a freshwater lake with Puget Sound saltwater.

I’m here underneath the George Washington Memorial Bridge. That’s the official name, but most Seattle people call it the Aurora Bridge CU. It is Aurora Avenue that runs at the top of it. However, here I was still amid the houseboats yesterday from that famous one, the one made famous by the movie 1993 Sleepless in Seattle, and here is a houseboat, oh, I’m guessing probably 4 miles away. Some boats that pass by with tourists probably think this is the Sleepless in Seattle boat because it has these fun signs on the side of it.

Well, that’s the reason I stopped recording today’s meditation. This shall be a sign unto you to recognize those words. We hear them a lot during the Christmas season. Taken out of Luke Chapter 2, where the angel gives the message to the Shepherds. “That this shall be a sign unto you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.” Well, that’s not the only sign in the scriptures. Some signs speak of symbols and prophetic indicators of what to look for.

This shall be a sign of what will take place, and did you know that your life is a sign? It’s a sign of sorts. It’s not the fast tugboat company, is not the blue blueberry fairy boat, it’s not Fort Yukon, it’s not needles. At my grandma’s ranch in Idaho, there was a horse named Needles. Remember that from when I was a kid, but your life and my life are signs as you hear the Wake from the Yachts… You can hear the rest above in Greg’s video.
