Walking Through The Woods

It’s Greg Asimakoupoulos with today’s edition of My Rhymes and Reasons.

Walking through the woods, into the woods, I come to think while mindful of the sovereign’s wink.

We are called to be mindful of the Lord’s activity in our life every day.

We often talk about having a walk with the Lord. What that means to me is having a daily quiet time, a daily walk where we can sense God’s presence as we walk into his word, as we walk into the park, the woods, wherever you go for your getaway stroll.

For me, Wendy and I are fortunate to have a forest preserve in our neighborhood.

And on an autumn day like this, to walk, kick a few leaves, look up, and see the towering trees, many of which have lost their leaves, except for the evergreens.

If you missed our last My Rhymes and Reasons post, it is here.
