When We Help the Poor and Needy

Spare some change to help the homeless. La. Go Hawks. It’s the season for the Seahawks. La go Hawks. When we help the poor and needy, fa, we’re inclined to be less greedy. F la.

Go Hawks.

You know, every year at this time I have the privilege and the honor of ringing the bell for the Salvation Army kettle. And it’s one of my favorite traditions at the holidays.

Here we are after Christmas and yet the need still exists. Whether there’s a red kettle near a store where you shop or not.

I have a interest in a quote from that great novel by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, where Scrooge, Ebenezer Scrooge, after he has a change of heart, after he has actually been born again, he says near the end of the story, I will honor Christmas in my heart and keep it all year round.

If you missed our last My Rhymes and Reasons post, it is here.
